The W Club Whisky Auctions

Laphroaig Lore

Laphroaig Lore was created by Distillery Manager, John Campbell, to honour the craft passed down through generations of his predecessors at the Islay distillery since its founding in 1815. Lore combines some of Laphroaig’s most precious stock from a selection of casks including first-fill sherry butts and quarter casks, capturing the essence of the distillery.

Tasting Notes:
Rich and deep with the distinctive Islay smoke, peat and seaside minerals. There’s a rich and complex sweetness that engulfs the palate, with notes of spice and more peat, before a long and sweet finish.

Lot sold on behalf of third party owner.

Please examine the images of the lot carefully, including any packaging and labels, to inspect the condition of the item before placing a bid.

How W Club auctions work

Bids must be submitted in increments of £25 (increment values vary per auction). Auctions run until their closing date, or until bidding is exhausted.

When an auction is coming to a close, each new bid will extend the auction to allow bidders reasonable time to submit a new high bid.

Completed auctions and winning bids

An auction is complete if no higher bids are received within a short period of the current high bid, after the closing date of the auction.

Maximum bids

Enter the maximum bid you are willing to pay for an item and we'll automatically bid in £25 increments (increment values vary per auction) up to that value – so you avoid missing out on popular items or paying more than you want.

Watch items

You can watch any item, and we'll send you an email notification when new bids are placed. If you are the highest bidder, we'll send you an email if someone else bids a higher amount.
