Gordon & MacPhail Glen Grant 1954
Distilled on 24th April 1954 at Glen Grant distillery, this Speyside single malt was filled to a first-fill sherry butt, number 1818, to mature for more than half a century, initially at the distillery and then, from 1971 onwards, at the bonded warehouses of Gordon & MacPhail. Bottled on 13th January 2006 at a strength of 40% abv.
Intensely fruity with strawberries, raspberries and watermelon on the nose, with hessian and leather coming later. The palate is deliciously smooth with sweet sherry and ripe fruit notes. There's a touch of drying spice before a long and luxurious finish.

How W Club auctions work
Bids must be submitted in increments of £25 (increment values vary per auction). Auctions run until their closing date, or until bidding is exhausted.
When an auction is coming to a close, each new bid will extend the auction to allow bidders reasonable time to submit a new high bid.
Completed auctions and winning bids
An auction is complete if no higher bids are received within a short period of the current high bid, after the closing date of the auction.
Enter the maximum bid you are willing to pay for an item and we'll automatically bid in £25 increments (increment values vary per auction) up to that value – so you avoid missing out on popular items or paying more than you want.
You can watch any item, and we'll send you an email notification when new bids are placed. If you are the highest bidder, we'll send you an email if someone else bids a higher amount.
