Jim McEwan's Celtic Heartlands Glen Moray 1962

Distilled at Elgin's Glen Moray distillery in 1962 and selected by Jim McEwan for the Celtic Heartlands series, this Speyside single malt has been aged for 42 years in American bourbon casks.

Tasting Notes:
The nose has mature oak and honeyed vanilla with soft fruits, dark cola, sugared almonds and a touch of mint. The palate is incredibly oaky with a mouth-filling warmth and sweet fruits emerging. The finish emerges slowly with rich dark vanilla.

How W Club auctions work

Bids must be submitted in increments of £25 (increment values vary per auction). Auctions run until their closing date, or until bidding is exhausted.

When an auction is coming to a close, each new bid will extend the auction to allow bidders reasonable time to submit a new high bid.

Completed auctions and winning bids

An auction is complete if no higher bids are received within a short period of the current high bid, after the closing date of the auction.

Maximum bids

Enter the maximum bid you are willing to pay for an item and we'll automatically bid in £25 increments (increment values vary per auction) up to that value – so you avoid missing out on popular items or paying more than you want.

Watch items

You can watch any item, and we'll send you an email notification when new bids are placed. If you are the highest bidder, we'll send you an email if someone else bids a higher amount.
