Laphroaig Cairdeas 200th Anniversary Edition
A special edition of Laphroaig's Cairdeas (literally meaning 'friendship' in Gaelic), this Islay single malt celebrates 200 years of the distillery. Master Distiller John Campbell crafted this expression to closely resemble the original Laphroaig of 1815, using the finest malt from the distillery's floor maltings, a cold smoke process to impart the unique peat flavours, and small pot stills before maturing in the distillery's oldest warehouse next to the sea.
Peat and wood smoke mix with fruit and vanilla on the nose, with Laphroaig's characteristic medicinal note taking a backseat. The palate is rich and creamy with plenty of peat and spicy notes, before subtle orange and vanilla can be detected. the finish is rich and peaty with plenty of well-balanced spice.

How W Club auctions work
Bids must be submitted in increments of £25 (increment values vary per auction). Auctions run until their closing date, or until bidding is exhausted.
When an auction is coming to a close, each new bid will extend the auction to allow bidders reasonable time to submit a new high bid.
Completed auctions and winning bids
An auction is complete if no higher bids are received within a short period of the current high bid, after the closing date of the auction.
Enter the maximum bid you are willing to pay for an item and we'll automatically bid in £25 increments (increment values vary per auction) up to that value – so you avoid missing out on popular items or paying more than you want.
You can watch any item, and we'll send you an email notification when new bids are placed. If you are the highest bidder, we'll send you an email if someone else bids a higher amount.
