The W Club Whisky Auctions

Bruichladdich 1970

Released in 2002, this vintage expression from Islay's Bruichladdich distillery was selected by Master Distiller Jim McEwan from casks laid down in 1970. Matured for around 32 years, this single malt was bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Tasting Notes:
Juicy apricots, melons and pears on the nose with traces of vanilla and a touch of mint. The palate is smooth and oily with more fruits, balanced oak and coconut with some grassy aspects towards the end. Long and smooth on the finish with sweet raisins.

How W Club auctions work

Bids must be submitted in increments of £25 (increment values vary per auction). Auctions run until their closing date, or until bidding is exhausted.

When an auction is coming to a close, each new bid will extend the auction to allow bidders reasonable time to submit a new high bid.

Completed auctions and winning bids

An auction is complete if no higher bids are received within a short period of the current high bid, after the closing date of the auction.

Maximum bids

Enter the maximum bid you are willing to pay for an item and we'll automatically bid in £25 increments (increment values vary per auction) up to that value – so you avoid missing out on popular items or paying more than you want.

Watch items

You can watch any item, and we'll send you an email notification when new bids are placed. If you are the highest bidder, we'll send you an email if someone else bids a higher amount.
