Ardbeg Lord of the Isles
Released between 2002 and 2007, this Islay single malt is hailed as the supreme expression of Ardbeg. Matured in oak barrels for a quarter of a century, it is named for the Celtic, Norse warlord, Somerled, who founded the lordship dynasty that would rule the western isles of Scotland from the council isle of Islay.
The nose is a perfect reflection of Ardbeg's hallmark aromas with a peaty complexity of wood smoke, tarry rope and leather, all balanced by a delicate sweetness.

How W Club auctions work
Bids must be submitted in increments of £25 (increment values vary per auction). Auctions run until their closing date, or until bidding is exhausted.
When an auction is coming to a close, each new bid will extend the auction to allow bidders reasonable time to submit a new high bid.
Completed auctions and winning bids
An auction is complete if no higher bids are received within a short period of the current high bid, after the closing date of the auction.
Enter the maximum bid you are willing to pay for an item and we'll automatically bid in £25 increments (increment values vary per auction) up to that value – so you avoid missing out on popular items or paying more than you want.
You can watch any item, and we'll send you an email notification when new bids are placed. If you are the highest bidder, we'll send you an email if someone else bids a higher amount.
